Polyamide 6

Polyamide 6 is derived from the closed-loop caprolactam monomer, a 6 ring carbon atom loop, which opens when polymerized. The PA6 is robust, has excellent abrasion resistance, good chemical and fatigue resistance, smoothness, resilience, high strength and rigidity.

Polyamide 6.6

Polyamide 6.6, PA66 obtained from the polymerization of hexamethylenediamine and adipic acid is a technical thermoplastic material.
Compared to PA6, PA66 has higher stiffness but lower resilience.
